ISMAA Competitions provide young musicians across Asia with opportunities to present their work, receive professional feedback, and connect with a wider community of students, educators, artists, and schools.
Our competitions welcome participants from different age groups, educational backgrounds, and musical disciplines. Categories may include performance, composition, music production, research, and interdisciplinary projects.
ISMAA values not only technical achievement, but also interpretation, originality, cultural understanding, artistic communication, and potential for growth. Entries are reviewed by qualified adjudicators according to clear and transparent criteria.

Who Can Apply
Students from international schools and other eligible educational institutions may apply. Age divisions, entry requirements, deadlines, and submission formats will vary by competition.
Most entries will be submitted online through recordings, videos, scores, written work, or digital portfolios.
Awards and Opportunities
Selected participants may receive awards, certificates, professional feedback, publication opportunities, performance invitations, or participation in future ISMAA festivals and events.
